Asia comes to us from Wilfrid Laurier University, where she is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Psychotherapy and Counselling. She approaches therapy with warmth and curiosity while recognizing that every individual's experiences are shaped by the many different relationships and identities that influence their lives. Asia is passionate about creating a safe and collaborative space where clients feel understood and empowered to explore meaningful change.
Asia supports individuals with concerns such as anxiety, self-esteem and confidence, family conflict and relationships, emotion regulation, and cultural identity. She strives to help each person recognize and build upon their existing strengths while working collaboratively to develop practical coping strategies.
Asia's therapeutic approach is informed by Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). She tailors her approach to meet each client's individual goals and needs, while also integrating attachment-based perspectives and mindfulness/somatic practices.
Outside of work and school, Asia enjoys spending time in nature, practicing yoga and mindfulness, exploring new cafés, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
