Anna Hartley
Anna brings her genuine love of getting to know new people to her work as a student therapist. She approaches each client with respectful curiosity and an appreciation of their unique set of strengths and capabilities. Her goal is to create a calm and welcoming environment where the exploration of past experiences, present circumstances, and wishes for the future-can unfold.
While we cannot control all that life throws at us, we can, with insight, skill-building, and self-compassion, find strength and meaning in many of the challenges that come our way. Anna employs an eclectic and client-specific approach in helping her clients to build competency around emotional regulation, helpful thought patterns, resiliency, relationship-building, self-acceptance, and self-advocacy.
Anna welcomes anyone who wishes to undertake the brave work of therapy. She is actively welcoming of neurodiverse and/or 2SLGBTQIA+ clients. Outside of her practice, Anna loves to hang out with her wife, kids (ages 15 and 10), and dog, Sophie. She loves to cook, garden, lift weights, and travel. Fun fact: Anna practiced law in California for 13 years, where she represented youth and adults in San Francisco area courts.
