Allie Golabek
Allie offers creative, non-judgmental, safe, and trauma-informed psychotherapy to a diverse clientele facing a range of emotions and experiences, including anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship difficulties, and grief.
Her approach is grounded in empathy, openness, trust, and a touch of humour. Together with her clients, Allie explores how past experiences, emotions, thoughts, and beliefs contribute to present struggles, while encouraging the discovery of new ways of being that promote mental and emotional wellness.
In collaboration with her clients, Allie develops a tailored therapeutic approach to help them untangle from their struggles and guide them toward paths that are empowering and meaningful. This process utilizes clients’ strengths and values while integrating appropriate therapeutic methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT). In sessions, emphasis is placed on identifying what is within the client’s control to change or influence, exploring creative solutions, providing psychoeducation, and processing past experiences to create a more peaceful and fulfilling life.
Allie sees individual teens & children as well as couples & families.
Allie practices both at our Runnymede & Bloor and our Danforth & Chester locations.
