Omar Bishir
Omar offers a grounded and thoughtful presence in therapy, supporting adults as they move through transitions, confront emotional challenges, and reconnect with themselves.
He approaches each client with care and attentiveness, recognizing that no two paths are the same. He works collaboratively to help clients explore patterns in their inner and relational lives, while creating room for new possibilities. Whether someone is facing anxiety, burnout, grief, or deeper questions around meaning, identity, or purpose, Omar holds space for the complexity of those experiences with steadiness and warmth.
He is currently completing his Master’s in Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy at Wilfrid Laurier University. Before entering the field of therapy, Omar spent several years working in education, an experience that deepened his appreciation for human growth and the courage it takes to face one’s inner world honestly.
Outside of his work as a student therapist, Omar spends time reading, writing, and going to the cinema. He also enjoys cooking and quiet walks through the city, and particularly its parks.
